After only 4 weeks of dinner service IT IS GREAT. Only going off of my meal, I split the bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese and the loaded fries with brisket, it was wonderful. The fries: crispy. The batter on the chicken: light and beautifully cooked. The brisket: not usually my thing but also very good. The only issue is that I couldn't eat more!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time, and it was truly a memorable experience! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and appreciated. What made the visit even more special was getting to meet Truman himself. He personally brought our food to the table and took the time to connect with us. He was warm, personable, and clearly takes great pride in his restaurant—and it shows in every detail. If you’re ever in downtown Fuquay, do yourself a favor and stop by Truman’s. Great food, amazing service, and an owner who genuinely cares about his guests. I’ll definitely be back!
Best BBQ and brisket we have had in a long, long time!! It was actually the first night of their dinner opening and it was top notch! They also do breakfast and lunch service. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again!

This was a surprising treat! The hash brown bowls were flavorful, not too salty, and the owners were walking around and greeting everyone. It’s a laid back, coffeehouse vibe inside with 2-3 tables outside. They have coffee drinks, boba tea, etc. Will absolutely come back for brunch!
The menu was unexpectedly vast. There are so many good food offerings from a variety of cuisines. Scrumptious breakfast is served all day, all for an affordable price. It is intimate yet spacious, with seating in the front and lounge area. Everything is clean and tidy, including the bathroom. The staff is welcoming. Additionally, there is free public parking nearby. We plan to put the restaurant in rotation because there are so many dishes we want to try. I recommend you do the same!
We got there at a busy time, the staff was good about letting us know upfront about the wait. Loved the outdoor seating, food was amazing. Will definitely eat here again!
